Fine mesh (850µm) to protect crops against a range of insect pests including carrot fly, moths and butterflies, flea beetle, Spotted Wing Drsophila (SWD, Drosophila suzukii), aphid and larger thrip species.

Light weight 34 gsm (grams per square meter) allows flexability of use from laying directly onto the crop to using on hoops or larger tunnel structures.

Made from 100% plant-derived material. After its 2-3 years operating life (depending on use and maintenance) InsectoNet is completely biodegradable (according to standard EN 13432).

Manufactured with fine thread to minimse impact on growing conditions on covered crops: minimal light blocking, impact on water penetration and interference with airflow.

Use InsectoNet in exactly the same way as traditional plastic insect netting. 

Place InsectoNet protective insect netting over the crop to create a barrier to prevent pest insects reaching the crop. InsectoNet can be laid directly onto the crop, hung over hoops or placed over larger tunnel structures. 

InsectoNet can be cut with scissors to any shape or size. The high-quality weaving manufacturing will mean the material will not unravel or fray. 

At the end of the season clean and dry the insect netting. Store in a dry location out of direct sunlight. Depending on use and maintenance, InsectoNet should last 2-3 growing seasons.
