We are looking for an organised and motivated individual to work with our innovative biological crop protection products. Collaborating with both internal teams and our customers, you will be responsible for managing field trials and generating knowledge exchange material for existing and near to market technologies. This role will give you exposure to the complete product lifecycle from new concept screening trials, through registration support, product launch and lifecycle management. You will be involved in planning, executing and reporting trials as well as marketing and customer support.
Our most important criteria is that you share our passion for establishing sustainable solutions in mainstream agriculture and horticulture. This position can be moulded around whether you are a new graduate or join the team with more experience.
You should be comfortable working both on your own or as part of a team, enjoy practical work and be enthusiastic about biological control products and our growing industry.
Technical Development Role and Responsibilities
• Planning, executing and reporting product trials both in field and laboratory. Collaborating with both internal and external partners
• Assist our customers to understand and use our biologicals and sustainable products in the UK agricultural and horticultural crop markets
• Lead customer engagement through writing content, site visits, supporting our stand at
relevant industry events and product presentations
• Attend internal and external meetings to present technical product information
Technical Development Requirements and Qualifications
• A passion for research and running field trials
• Minimum of degree level in Agriculture, Horticulture, Biology or related subject
• Ideally a BASIS Commercial Horticulture qualification. If you do not already have this, we will support you through this training as part of an agreed personal development plan
• Good understanding of technical product requirements and analysis of data
• Willingness to travel, mostly within the UK. There will be opportunities to travel
internationally to Andermatt Group technical meetings
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft operating systems (e.g. Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
• Current driving licence

Are you a proactive and motivated individual who enjoys a busy role with lots of variety? We are a small but fast-growing, sustainable business based in Small Dole. We’re looking for a motivated individual for a key warehouse role, helping to keep our operations running smoothly through our busy 2026 season.
In this role, you’ll take ownership of stock and production whist assembling, replenishing, picking, packing and dispatching customer orders. With a variety of tasks every day, your work will be essential in keeping our warehouse running in an organised and efficient manner.
Reporting to our Operations Manager, you should be comfortable working both on your own and as part of a small team. You should enjoy working in a warehouse and be comfortable decision making and communication within our small team.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Receiving, checking and storing incoming goods accurately and efficiently
- Picking, packing and dispatching orders in a timely manner
- Loading and unloading deliveries safely and efficiently
- Product assembly, following a defined method
- Carrying out stock checks and inventory counts
- Logging and reporting damaged, missing, or incorrect stock
- Communication with office colleagues to ensure warehouse management systems are updated
- Operating warehouse equipment (e.g. pallet pump truck)
- Following health & safety procedures at all times
- Keeping the warehouse clean, organised, and hazard-free
- Undertake any other reasonable duties as required by the business
Skills and Qualifications
- Experience of a warehouse environment is desirable but not essential
- Reliable with strong timekeeping and time management skills
- Demonstrates an enthusiastic & flexible approach
- Proactive in taking ownership and accountability for completing tasks
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Ability to undertake manual handling duties, including some heavy lifting
- Occasional shift flexibility during exceptionally busy periods
- Eligibility to work in the UK
