Plant derived liquid Calcium fertiliser to prevent and correct calcium deficiencies in a wide range of crops.

The Calcium nutrients are 100% present in solution and can therefore be taken up directly by the plant.

Vertilizer 8% Calcium is suitable for use as both a foliar fertiliser application or through an irrigation system. The Calcium is 100% absorbable giving quick plant responses similar to a mineral calcium fertiliser application.

The organic plant derived calcium within Vertilizer 8% Calcium offers high absorption potential from the plant with lower salt content than mineral calcium fertilisers. Salts contained within fertilisers can build up over time and reduce the uptake rate of calcium from the growing media, even if the calcium or other nutrients are present in the growing media.

Calcium availability helps support fruit development. The availability of calcium improves fruit firmness and increases fruit quality.

Rate of use and fertiliser application frequency will vary depending on the crop and the growing environment. Vertilizer 8% Calcium offers a flexible way to control and adjust the level of Calcium applied to the plants in a similar way to mineral calcium fertilisers.

The below recommendations are to be used as guidelines only:

Foliar application: Apply 2-3 ml/L, 2-3 applications every 1-3 weeks.

Irrigation for vegetables: Apply 2.5-10 L/ha, every 1-2 weeks.

Irrigation for ornamental plants and fruits: Apply 5-15 L /ha, 2-5 applications per crop cycle.

Application frequency guidelines:
Vegetables: Apply weekly during vegetative growth and fruit formation.
Fruit trees: Apply from the formation of the first leaves of buds. Repeat every 5-17 days.
Grapevine: Apply every 7-15 days from bloom until fruit formation.
Ornamental plants: Apply weekly, especially during bud formation.
Potato: Apply during the development of tubers, and at the end of the vegetative stage, especially on sandy soils.
