Using blue cylinder traps allows monitoring of pest insect populations and to determine when an action threshold is reached.
Pack contains: 1 support stake, 6 blue sticky cards and 1 pheromone lure.
How to Use
How to Use
Suitable for use in any crop where the common green capsid is a problem. The common green capsid trap should be set up from April through to October to cover the flowering and fruiting period.
Using the blue sticky card create a cylinder. Pass the support stake through the alligned holes to secure the cylinder.
Remove the white covering from both sides of the blue sticky card.
Open one sachet containing the pheromone lure. Secure the pheromone lure tothe top of the support stake on the outside of the cylinder. Use the support stake to place the trap in the ground.
Trap placement: Place the trap at crop height, out of direct sunlight. Place in the crop close to the field edges.
Trap density: Use 2 traps per 2 hectare plantation of uniform crop. In ununiform areas higher densities may be required.
Lure replacement frequency: Replace pheromone lure after 6 weeks.
Store in a cool dry location until use.
