Note: Adult Black Vine Weevil do not fly and therefore this should be considered when placing the attractant in the crop.

Omnilure Black Vine Weevil Attractants can be used year-round, especially in growing system under protection or indoors. Although adult beetle activity will peak in summer months, under protected systems, adult black vine weevil can be present year-round.

Omnilure Black Vine Weevil Attractants can be used in combination with various types of trap or refuge systems.

Trap placement: Place around the edge and within the crop. Note that adult Black Vine Weevil can not fly.

Lure placement: Attach an Omnilure Thrip Attractant to the sticky trap being used to monitor the pest to ensure thrips being attracted to the lure are caught on the trap. How lures are attached will depend on the sticky trap being used.

Trap density: Sticky trap density will depend on the level of monitoring required, follow manufacturers guidelines.

Attractant density: Omnilure Black Vine Weevil Attractants should be used at a rate of 1 lure for every 100m2 (100 per ha).

Lure replacement frequency: Every 6-8 weeks.

Store Omnilure Black Vine Weevil Attractant unopened in a fridge or freezer until use.
